        <p>
I must say, I've closely followed <a href="http://imdb.com/name/nm0000120/">Jim Carrey's </a>career,
I first remember him in "<a href="http://imdb.com/title/tt0089730/">Once Bitten</a>",
and of course later with in <a href="http://imdb.com/title/tt0098830/">In Living Color</a>.
Back in early 1994, some friends and I had decided to crash in Miami for sometime,
and on one faithful late night we were approached by two girls (who stuck out like
sore thumbs) offering us a part as extras in a movie.
</p>
        <p>
Sure, we'd bite. Early the morning after next, we arrived at the Ritz theater, and
waited in line to be part of extras group 6, which everyone kept confusing for group
sex! We soon found out the name of the movie was "<a href="http://imdb.com/title/tt0109040/">Ace
Ventura, Pet Detective</a>" starring none other than Jim Carrey. I talked with him
briefly and he joked that I was one of only a handful of people that actually watched <a href="http://imdb.com/title/tt0089730/">Once
Bitten</a>. When the movie came out, I was the only one from my group that actually
survived the cutting room floor.
</p>
        <p>
For those of you who are actually interested in finding me, it's not too far into
the movie, when he goes to a club where "Cannibal Corpse" is playing, before he goes
down stairs into the laboratory. He's standing looking around, I'm standing behind
him, hair trim real short and my trademark sideburns low, just a banging my head up
and down.
</p>
        <p>
Well, I just saw the preview for <a href="http://imdb.com/title/tt0481369/">The Number
23</a> on <a href="http://www.apple.com/trailers/newline/thenumber23/trailer/">Apple.com </a>and
I must say it looks good, plus I've always found numerical patterns in everything,
and my favorite number, besides of course 42, is 4.

I'm not one to be highly over critical of movies, there are good ones, and there are
not so good ones. I'm can usually tell them apart based on the preview and the
cast attached. Today I proved my theory imperfect.
</p>
        <p>
I must say, I first read about the Black Dahlia case a few years back, I think it
was inspired by an A&amp;E special. Very gory, very intriguing, very mysterious; a
brutal murder that was still unsolved.  When I first heard that a movie was in
the works and that Brian DePalma was to direct, I was comfortable in thinking that
the movie would do justice to the story. Boy, was I wrong! This is the first time,
in a very long time, that I feel like a victim of theft, I want my money and time
returned. This movie is bad, everything about this movie is absolute garbage.
</p>
        <p>
Sorry, I had to get that off my chest.
