So I'm playing around with yet another video social networking site Stickam.
I do like the live video chat and IMHO it has promise, although there are still quite
a few bugs to work out.

Here is a quick video I uploaded for testing, it's just me playing some guitar and
improvising, so please don't be too harsh :-)

Since the PlateWire big-bang I've been asked by many the same question; what are your
long term goals?

Easy enough, I intend to do my part in ensuring a better tomorrow for my heart and
soul, my children. I do believe one person can make a difference and I have only just
begun.

As a child growing up in Costa
Rica, I used to talk with my aunt Alicia, she'd listen to me go on about anything
and everything. One time I shared with her the fact that I felt I was destined to
do something great, something that would make people happy and benefit everyone.

"Everyone has that same 'feeling', we're all born with it, because each and everyone
of us is capable of changing the world. It starts with one person. You." laying her
hand on my chest.

I've never forgotten that, and though it's been a bumpy road, the journey has been
filled with constant adventure and experiences that make me who I am today.

Our family motto is simply "Generations". Both Heather and I were
raised primarily by our mothers and rotating step-fathers. The only legacy left to
us by them are bad memories and broken promises. We vehemently protest leaving our
children anything but love and strength, we believe in building a family
that will remain strong for Generations.

I strongly believe in PlateWire and I am confident that as it grows if we achieve
capturing even 5% of drivers worldwide and out of them half significantly re-evaluate
their own driving, we'd be saving countless of lives and millions of dollars! You
can't say that's a bad goal to have.

Our family motto is simply "<strong>Generations</strong>". Both Heather and I were
raised primarily by our mothers and rotating step-fathers. The only legacy left to
us by them are bad memories and broken promises. We vehemently protest leaving our
children anything but love and strength,&nbsp;we believe in&nbsp;building a family
that will remain strong for <strong>Generations</strong>.
</p>
<p>
I strongly believe in PlateWire and I am confident that as it&nbsp;grows if we achieve
capturing even 5%&nbsp;of drivers worldwide and out of them half significantly re-evaluate
their own driving, we'd be saving countless of lives and millions of dollars!&nbsp; You
can't say that's a bad goal to have.&nbsp;

On Nov. 20th of this year when the Washington Post article went out about PlateWire,
we were just getting the finishing touches on the new version, which we launched in
a rushed effort to show the new features, failing to add any of the ads we had been
previously running, from Text-Link-Ads and AdBrite.
After a few weeks, we decided to settle on one of these two advertisers to be
our exclusive ads provider, we only want to turn on ads for guests, and we are adament
that ads should in no way be intrusive to the experience.

Well, to make a long story short, I spent the better part of last week attempting
to contact someone at TLA, to no avail. My first choice was TLA, their reputation
in the blogosphere seemed to be decent and although they required server side code
(At the time they only offered ASP, and I was running ASPX; I actually spent a few
hours making a server side handler for ASP.net and forwarded to them the code which
I never received a thanks for, guess that should have been a clue) I thought I'd give
them the first shot. After 7 days of sending emails, filling out their "Contact" form,
and voicemails I heard nothing! I decided to see what response I would receive from
AdBrite, bang! Immediately I received a call back, from a very helpful associate.
He discussed with me my site, my goals, etc. Wow, actual service, I was honestly aghast!
Well the decision made itself, AdBrite was the service to go with.

When I finally received a response from TLA,
I was told "You dropped our ads without telling us", thats why they ignored me? What
are we in elementary school?

On a side note; it seems that TLA was recently purchased by MediaWhiz,
perhaps they forgot to sell them the magic that made them what they used to be?
